8 Hours of Sleep is important
Not getting enough sleep can lead to an increase in the amount of calories you eat through-out the day and this leads to weight gain. Other health risks associated with lack of sleep includes depression, inflammation and even heart disease. Research shows people who don’t get enough sleep tend to be heavier, eat a lot more, have a higher BMI, and are far more likely to be diabetic.
Physical and mental performance are both highly effected and degraded when someone doesn’t receive an adequate amount of sleep. Thankfully there is help to ensure you get enough sleep each night and that is listening to relaxing sleep music and getting 8 hours.
Sleep deficiency can cause problems with learning, focusing, and reacting. This can also cause trouble making decisions or even remembering things. Poor sleep also effects your ability to control your emotions and behaviour. You will find yourself more prone to irritability and anger.
As you can see it is very important to get enough quality sleep during the night for your health and well-being.
Other tips to help you sleep are enjoying a hot bath, drinking a glass of warm milk, wearing 100% cotton pyjamas and talking about any problems you might be having with a friend or partner so those issues aren’t playing on your mind when you try to settle down.
We recommend listening to sleep music 8 hours to ensure you fall to asleep and get a full nights sleep.
